Gameplay video and build tutorial of TJ's Honda Civic, featured in Need for Speed: Underground. TJ is an acquaintance of the character, offering him upgrade rewards for his or her car. After Samantha's car is totalled from racing the player character, TJ takes it and restores it to working order, but not before he imprints his own touch to her unique design. Using spray cans, TJ adds crude flames to the car and defaces the cat designs to make them appear demonic. This particular design has become an icon for fans of the series since its release in 2003. The graffitied Civic is renowned for its distressed baby blue paintwork, unique evil Hello Kitty inspired cat graphics, and aerodynamic wide bodykit.

I know this isn't a Honda Civic, and I know there is one in the game. I used the Acura Integra instead of the Civic in game as I do not think the small hatchback body style works as well as the coupe. In Underground 1, Samantha's car is a Civic coupe, and so this design looks much better on the Integra. There is no reason to comment on this as I've persistently explained it several times.

I am not claiming this is a 100% perfect replica of the design, however I do feel it is a very accurate version. This video was recorded in real time, with minimal editing, so you will be able to follow along easily. In the interest of time, I have had to speed the video up slightly. I can only apologise for this. Be sure to message me if you need help. I make sure I include all the small touches often forgotten when making this design, so it is very accurate. I hope you enjoy it!

As with all tutorials, try to see this as more of a guide than a strict process - no one's work is perfect! You're bound to see flaws in my design, or find faster ways of creating something - so if that happens, do your own thing! The beauty of experimentation is you find results that please you more than any one else's design would. Heck, you might even end up creating a better design than you would have if you'd followed this tutorial exactly.
